Nice to meet you, Nathan!
He looked like one who have a passion to tell us different and interesting cultures of his.
As I thought, many students asked diverse questions to him and I thought that it is nature to have each interest and likes from student to student.
I also asked my interest concerning America culture and was pleased to hear answer I wanted to hear.
I asked him to tell me why most people think that hiphop is black people's and rock n role is white people. Since I was young I have listened to many music, so the question is what I have wondered since I was young.
He replied that it is a historical result and these days many music genres are being combined and music are changing more and more.
I was interested in these trues and will write my essay in this topic.
I think that it is much better to here country culture by native in person than to search on the internet.

I love America resume :D
One of them I was impressed is the difference of Resume.
In the presentation, presentor told us that personal pictures
are not required when someone apply for a company.
I actually didn't know that true until that time.
I thought that there are more many differences about resume
between Korea and America and decided to find other ones.
Unlike Korean resume, America resume doesn't include appearance,
age, sex, race and physical data, etc. of course personal picture.
America resume includes name, address, contacts, objective, edcation,
and experience. They only need applicants' work skills, potentials
and passions on work.
Also, in Korea, the family background is very very important.
It means that if I was born in very rich or renowned family, I can be
employed much more easier than other common people. I think
it is very bad custom because the background is not work skill.
I like America resume that doesn't discriminate applicants and
think that these customs in korea should be disappeared as soon as possible

Recommending some movies regarding a racism!!
Last week, my team presented a school life, an outcast and a racism.
Although it was quite short time to present, I learned a lot of American culture through preparatory period.
It was the racism that I considered it as very important topic because it is not problem in America but all of the world. It is very profound and controversial topic.
Actually, I have been interested in learning an African- American's culture since I was young, so I naturally have been interested in a racism.
I enjoy watching movies regarding black, racisms, gangsters etc.
In this blog, I'd like introduce you some movies which I watched and handle a racism.
The first is 12 Years a Slave.
This film's background is 1840s in America. At that time, there identically exist slave state in South and free state in North. Although importing slaves was illegal, situation was very different in South. Many black people was sold into farms, orchard and other work places.
This film handle that times situations.
This movie is 42 handle also a racism. In the past America, it was very surprising thing that black play baseball as an athlete. A black man was headhunted from a baseball team. First, he was treated very discriminigly, but he didn't care and concentrated on only playing baseball.
This film is also very memorable for me.

Stereotype of American of Students of a middle school
I work part-time at a academy, where middle school students come to study. I asked them to tell me about their thought of American and the reason yesterday, good things or bad things. A student told me that American looks rather fearful. He told when he watch the American movie, he can always look at many scenes in which ators use guns and are on drug.
So I told them that such scenes are a way to attract the audience and earn money and not every aspect of America.
A girl student told me that American all looks rich and handsome and pretty. She also told that American culture focuses on individual free, so they tend to only think themselves. Some students wanted to be American because westerners have good body and height. Through this conversation, I realized that children tend to more look at others' appearance than inner character.

I want to go to a bridal shower party
Do you know there is bridal showers in Korea? I actually thought that bridal shower open in only America. However, thesedays, many bridals-to-be are opening their parties in Korea.
There is so much food and food and food. Do women in Korea open the party to eat just? If I were a woman, I would go to all bridal showers... hahahahahah
Anyway, I think that this imitation from western is very important and good in exchanging culture of each country in the world.

I like to wear similarly each other.
Through the last class, I learned that Americans don't like to wear same clothes or shoes with a lover.
I was surprised at the fact because I like to do so with my girlfriend and there are many couples doing so in Korea.
Today, I searched the hollywood couples on the internet and found that although they don't wear completely same clothes with their lover, they express their relationship by wearing their clothes as a little similar style.
I was impressed by such subtle fashion senses. It is beautiful and lovely.
